Promotional Content for Lake Drive Band

Background Information
Lake Drive is a indie/pop/rock band based out of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. They have an alternative sound and a unique and engaging performance style. They wanted to have art that they could use to depict different members of the band in an engaging and grunge-aesthetic fashion.

Design Process

Animated GIF: I used Photoshop to create this animated GIF and to get the melting effects on his name. I chose to use bright colors to accentuate their "showy" style.

Lake Drive Poster (Purple): I cut out the background from a performance photo of the bass player and uploaded it to photoshop with the text, Arial Black, and added multiple filters to give it a blurred effect and to get the color tones to be vibrant.

Trevor Poster: Multiple tools used in Photoshop to create the melting effect and gradients applied to the text to create the vivd colors as it melts into the bottom of the page.

Album Cover: They wanted a album cover for their single "Dance Until We're Dead" and gave me inspiration images that included skeletons and skulls. I created the dancing skeleton in Illustrator and brought it into Photoshop with the Arial Black text. I then used halftones and other blending techniques to get the right color balance that they wanted. I originally had the words darker, but they wanted to see them in a brighter purple color. Still Image based on GIF: I created a black and white still image based off of the animated GIF that they could use for their socials or for posters.
